What about a Canon printer that works to do before?
I have a second bad Canon printer combo! Claudia: As a longtime computer consultant, I learned quickly that the multi-function units such as the purchase. (aka Cannon Printer) is a pain in the *$&!&(!()&^%$ (censored) for troubleshooting if they do not work right off the bat. First Option: One could do a system restore and go back to an earlier time and then try the drivers again. Be sure to follow the manual, because some of these devices actually require that you first install the drivers before the printer. Second option: Call a local computer suppport person. I assume that this a high price printer multi-use machine. So if you pay $ 50 – $ 100 for someone to work for you, it might be cheaper than replacement. Third: Check the printer cable. Is it loose? Can you take a different and close it? Read carefully the manualy. Some of them have actually a section on troubleshooting that someone useful. Also try to install it on another computer. BUT PLEASE Note also the manual carefully. Like I said before, these machines are very diverse, very choosy, and an incorrect installation you will be nothing more than sad. Finally, if the device never worked, you should be able to manufacture, take it to one again. Unless you never called and then you have no records to try it up and running bring. Within the first year you are coveraged by their manufacturers warranty … provided that this is a "continuing problem", they should still Honer it .. but do not have a history of the problem solved. If you want absolutely nothing else to do, and I do not blame you. Give it to goodwill value to obtain a Receipt for the tax season (it's deductible) and you do not buy a printer is a simple "all in one" device that gives you a lot of headaches.
